Job Opportunities

Legal Traineeships (Alternative to Practical Legal Training (PLT)) Commencing Early 2026

Our directors and senior lawyers have integrated the training and inclusion of young lawyers and trainees into our client’s matters, ensuring continuous mentorship and development.  Our most recent legal trainees were admitted in March 2025 and November 2025 and have transitioned into positions as Lawyers within our teams.  We are again now offering an outstanding opportunity for law graduates to commence their legal career with a 12-month supervised traineeship (as an alternative to incurring course fees and/or unpaid placement for the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice).  No law firm experience is required and upon completion of the 12-month supervised traineeship you will be eligible for admission as a Lawyer.  This traineeship is a direct pathway to a position as Lawyer at Bennett & Philp.

Commercial Associate/Senior Associate 5+ PAE Years

We offer practical legal solutions with the full range of business and personal legal services and as a result have grown a stellar client base and superb working culture. With over 30 fee earners across the firm and an established and respected Business Advisory team, we are looking for a 5+ PAE candidate with a demonstrated focus and interest in Commercial law to join the team.  This role is full-time, and you will be working in our CBD office.  The role involves direct contact and liaising with clients.
