Chilli Law Joins Bennett & Philp in Merger

Prominent Brisbane law firm Bennett & Philp Lawyers is expanding with Spring Hill commercial and business practice Chilli Law joining the Bennett & Philp team.

Business advisory and commercial lawyer Chris Lillie joins the Business Advisory team as a Special Counsel and brings with him more than 12 years of industry knowledge to Bennett & Philp.

His move is part of a twofold expansion for Bennett & Philp with Mt Gravatt law firm John Nagel & Co Solicitors also merging with the firm.

Bennett & Philp Managing Director Lance Pollard says the firm is excited to welcome the two practices to the Bennett & Philp team.

Mr Lillie has run his own firm, Chilli Law, for the past 8 years. The firm focused on business advisory and property legal services.

Mr Lillie graduated from Victoria University in Wellington and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2004 and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2006.

In addition to his legal roles he has also sat on not-for-profit and business advisory boards.
