Earlier this year, Bennett & Philp, hosted an NFL Super Bowl viewing party at the South Beach Social for many of the firm’s clients, partners and referrers with Shadforth Financial Group and Jirsch Sutherland sponsoring the event.
The day was a great success with an excellent turnout and participation in fundraising activities with all proceeds going to Multicap, a disability support organisation providing individual, respite and family support in Queensland.
We were pleased to announce that the event raised over $1600 for Multicap and we now have the pleasure of seeing how the proceeds have helped to fund project opportunities for Multicap and its clients.
With the proceeds from the Super Bowl event, Multicap purchased new software called Twins Data Programs which provides an easy-to-use mail-out program that the organisation can use for mailing services. This has opened more project opportunities for Multicap allowing them to employ more people with disabilities through one of its numerous enterprises such as Makeables, a production and distribution service. Multicap is now also in the process of obtaining a grant for mail bagging machinery which will further enhance the services they can offer companies.
Bennett & Philp would like to thank Multicap for allowing us the opportunity to support their organisation and the valuable work they do. We’ve also accepted an invite to check out the Makeables Tingalpa warehouse for some firsthand experience of the great work the Makeables team performs. Can’t wait!
Head to Multicap’s website to learn more about the Makeables enterprise as well as all the other valuable work the organisation is engaged in. Read more about our partnership with Multicap on our Social Responsibility page.
