The Bennett & Philp Lawyers sponsored MTA Queensland race car, competing in the Queensland Hyundai Excel X3 Series, is running at 10th place overall in the championships. The opening race at Morgan Park Raceway was both challenging for the newly-built car and the pit team – who proved to be worth their weight in gold.
MTA Queensland racecar driver David Wood had this to say in summary of the 4 days of racing at Morgan Park: “So, we have some engine power to find and we need to tune the handling a bit, but over the weekend we were able to improve the car a lot and, like a good race horse, I am better for the run too.”
