On Wednesday, the 3rd of March 2021, Bennett & Philp, in collaboration with Jirsch Sutherland, hosted an interesting and engaging networking event focused on the new small business restructuring reforms.
The event started with an introduction by the moderator, Nadia Sabaini, Director of Bennett & Philp (Business Advisory). The presenters, Melissa Lau, Partner of Jirsch Sutherland (Brisbane) and Chai Hoe, Dispute Resolution and Litigation Lawyer of Bennett & Philp Lawyers, had an interactive and interesting discussion of the new small business restructuring reforms with the attendees from a diverse background, ranging from accountants to company directions.
The small business restructuring reforms, which commenced on 1 January 2021, have received mixed reviews. The presenters were impressed with the audience’s interest in the topic, and we look forward to hosting another webinar to discuss it further.
