Bennett & Philp Lawyers Ranked Top Tier

Bennett & Philp Lawyers has again achieved a significant ranking in the prestigious , being named in the 2017 Guide in the top tier of the leading intellectual property law firms in Brisbane.

Directors and Intellectual Property lawyers Tony Bennett and Ken Philp also have again been named in the Doyle’s national report on Australia’s legal profession, this time as two of the only four IP lawyers in Brisbane who qualify as in the .

Their firm is also listed by Doyles as one of only four top tier leading intellectual property law firms in Queensland. Significantly, Bennett & Philp is the only Queensland- based law firm in the top tier group, which adds further emphasis to Tony and Ken being representatives of the only Queensland-based firm featured.

Tony Bennett has also featured as Recommended in the Queensland list for Leading Queensland Technology, Media & Telecommunications Lawyers.

The latest rankings continue a prestigious run for the firm with Tony Bennett and Ken Philp named in the 2015 Guide as two of the Leading Brisbane IP lawyers.

In that year their firm achieved significant rankings across several categories in the 2015 Doyle’s Guide. The firm was named in the 2015 Guide as a leader in the fields of medical negligence compensation, motor vehicle accident compensation and workplace compensation

The firm was also listed among the Recommended IP firms in the 2016 list and was also singled out for distinction in its Intellectual Property work by Doyles in 2010.

Tony Bennett and Ken Philp said they are very thrilled about the recognition given to them and the firm in this 2017 legal ranking.

The two have been involved, since about 1987, in some of the leading intellectual property cases in Australian law and they continue to maintain that work through to now. 

Bennett & Philp has recorded several significant wins in intellectual property law matters on matters such as trade marks use, patents, computer programmes and trade mark infringements.
